You hurriedly ripped open the envelope.
        Dear ____ ____,
It is our great pleasure to tell you that you have been accepted into Hartford Academy for the Preforming Arts. Term starts on September 1st. A list of school supplies and waivers for this year is enclosed in the envelope along with your schedule.
Yes! You gave a great whoop at the letter.
"What's going on ____?" Your mom asked from the kitchen.
        "I got in!" You cheered.
"Good job honey!" She said, running over to give you a large hug.
This meant so much. You would be going to the same school as the Vocaloids. You could even be in their classes! You were so happy that words failed you. This could be your big break.
You opened up your schedule and examined your classes.

Class A schedule:
        Period 1: Math
        Period 2: Free class
        Period 3: History
        Period 4: Gym
        Lunch
        Period 5: Choir
        Period 6: Science
        Period 7: English
It looked amazing. You weren't sure what class A meant though. You'd have to ask-
"Hey mom, what day is it today?" You called across the room.
        "The 29th," she answered.
Yikes! You only had two days to buy your supplies.
        Ring! Ring!
Your cell phone sounded from your pocket. The number was unidentified.
        "Hello?" You answered
"Hey ____! It's Rin. Did you get your letter yet?" It was the eldest Kagamine twin.
        "Yeah, I got in!"
        "Sweet! Which class?"
        "A."
"All right! You, Len, IA and I are in the same class."
"What about Miku and the others?"
"They're a year older, but our free periods overlap. Along with choir, if you have that instead of band."
        "That's cool."
"So, anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with us today?"
        "Me?"
"No, really?" Rin's voice was dripping with sarcasm. "Who else would I have been calling for?"
"Alright, just let me get my stuff."
        "Sweet, be there by 1pm."
"Thanks Rin!" You said, hanging up.
"Who was that?" Your mom asked.
"Rin Kagamine! I met her at auditions yesterday. She asked if we wanted to hang out," you squealed.
"I think I've heard that name before."
        "She's one of the Vocaloids!"
        "That idol group you like?"
        "The very same."
"She's going to the same school as you?"
        "Along with the others."
"And she wants to go shopping with you?"
        "Yup."
        "And you just met her?"
        "Yeah."
"I'm not sure. You don't know these people."
        "I'll keep my cellphone on."
        "Fine."
        "Yes! Thanks mom!
"I guess I can buy your school supplies while you're out."
"Nothing (least favourite colour) or with any mention of the Vocaloids. I'm in school with them now, I can't walk around with a Miku Hatsune backpack."
        "Alright," she chuckled.
        "Thanks!"

"Yo ____!" Rin called from across the parking lot. She stood with Miku, and Len. It made sense, since Miku was her best friend and Len her brother.
        "Hi Rin," you waved.
"Miku, ____. ____, Miku," she introduced.
"So you're the girl that Rin said got into A class?" Miku asked.
        "Probably," you said, unsure.
"You must be really good! A class is the best in the school. We're all in A class," Miku smiled.
"What's it like?" You asked her.
        "Spoilers!" Miku laughed.
"C'mon! There's awesome food here," Rin said, pulling you by the arm to the food court.
"Rin, you're gonna pull her arm off!" Miku laughed, prying Rin off of me.
        "Thanks Miku," you said, bowing.
"Hey, it's okay! And we're friends, you don't have to bow," Miku smiled.
Friends? With three of the Vocaloids?
"Now come one! I want my orange sherbet!" Rin complained, running off.
"Riiiiin! Slow down!" Miku yelled, running after her.
"I guess we should go after them," Len said, making you blush when he looked at you.
"Yeah, come on!" You said, gesturing for him to come with you.

"Mm, this is so good!" Rin said, licking her ice cream.
"This is one of the reasons that we didn't bring Kaito," Miku said.
"Good thing, or else I would have had to run him over in a road roller," Rin said with an evil gleam in her eyes.
"How's your icecream ____?" Len asked.
"Good. Yours?" Len was licking a banana split icecream cone.
"Good. D-do you want some?" Len said, making you turn a brighter shade of red than Miku's strawberry icecream.
"N-no, it's alright," you sputtered. You could swear that Len's face looked crestfallen. What was that about?
"I want to go check out those shoes we saw back there," Miku said.
"And I saw an awesome hair bow!" Rin added.

You spent the rest of the day wandering around the mall with Rin, Len, and Miku. It was better than a dream. You were shopping with actual idols! This was easily the most exciting day of your life. You may not have talked or laughed as much as Miku or Rin, but you still had the time of your life.
"Mom, I'm home!" You called across the house, putting down your keys.
"Dinner's in the oven," she responded.
You ate ravenously, positively starving. You went to bed right after, wanting a moment alone with your thoughts.
What did Rin and Miku really think of you? Did they see you as someone that they want to hang out with, or someone they could tease and make fun of when her back is turned? You knew all too well what that felt like. But Rin and Miku didn't seem like those kind of people. Then there was Len. You couldn't really understand him. He offered to share his icecream with you. Didn't sharing food like that count as indirect kissing? The thought made you blush. An idol like him couldn't feel like that about you. Could he? Questions paraded in your head until you fell asleep.

Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder played from your alarm clock. You felt exhausted as you had not woken up for school in months. You drowsily turned on the hot water and let the warm water flow over your shoulders in cascades. This day was your dream. You were going to the school of your dreams where your idols were educated. You met three of your favourite singers and would be in a class with three of the Vocaloids. Still your stomach twisted in knots at the thought of school. The pressure was intense as you thought of having to sing up to the standerds of actual idols. You had never had never had any proper lessons or coaching. Could you really be in the A class with Len Kagamine?
You dressed in the outfit you wore for your auditions (it made a good first impression) and sat down at your spot at the kitchen table with a bowl of cereal. After you finished eating, you grabbed your binders, pencil case, mp3 player, and cell phone and shoved them into your school bag. You threw a strap of the bag over your shoulder and ran out the door, waving to your parents before you left.
The school bus was at the end of the block, but it wasn't like a normal school bus. It looked like a fancy tour bus with its sleek, black paint and tinted windows. You boarded the bus without a look back. You gasped as you saw the luxurious interior with plush seats, arm rests, and air conditioning. You took a seat near the back and zipped open your backpack. You took out your MP3 player and out your headphones in. You pressed shuffle.
Lonely girl always looked at unreachable dreams
Making a fuss if you go inside her head and disturbed, disturbed
No problem was murmured, but weren't those words lost?
Fail again, fail again. After ending your search for mistakes it spins again!

Once more, once more, I'll also roll today
That girl says, that girl says, playing her words with meaning
Are you better now? I'm still a ways off, I don't see the point.
I'm going to stop my breathing now.
Rolling Girl made you think of you. You always felt like a carrer in singing was a helpless dream. You wrote your own songs, and if you were disturbed when you were writing, it ended up with you angry and annoyed.

"Yo ____!" Rin shouted from across the grounds. She was with Len and IA. They were going to math class together.
        "Hi Rin!" You said.
"IA, this is ____, she's in A class too!" Rin chirped.
"Hello," you said, bowing to the blond.
"I'm surprised. A class only has the top ten students in it. It normally has the Vocaloids in it, so you must be talented to be one of the seven others who aren't school idols," IA said, looking at you with a curious look on her face.
"Well, I wouldn't say talented exactly," you said, feeling uneasy.
"But I would," Len spoke up, with a small blush.
"Come on, let's go! You love birds can talk later!" Rin said, dashing off to math.
A tomato red Len looked down towards the ground sheepishly before running off with his twin.

"Yes, free periods are the best!" Rin cheered, exiting the math class room. "Let's go find Miku and the others!"
Once again, I was getting dragged off by Rin.
"Hey guys! This is ____," Rin said.
"Oh, the A class girl!" Meiko said, swinging her arm around you, a sake bottle in hand.
       "H-hello Meiko," you stuttered.
"So this is ____!" Kaito said cheerfully. "Len's told us about-" One shut-up-before-I-run-you-over-in-my-sister's-road-roller look from Len shut the blue haired teen up.
"I'm Gumi, nice to meet you!" The green haired girl shook your hand.
"I'm Luka," the sakura haired singer greeted.
"Luka! What you think of me?" Gakupo said, glomping Luka.
"Go google it!" Luka said, hitting him with her book.
You giggled at them quoting their own song.
        "Neru?" Miku prompted.
"Yeah, yeah," Neru said, clicking away on her cell phone.
"I'm sorry," a snow-haired girl said, approaching cautiously. "Neru's like this a lot. I'm sure she means well."
"I-it's okay," surprised by Haku's kindness.
"Hey, do you guys want to grab some icecream after school?" Kaito asked.
        "Yum!" Miku said.
        "Sure!" Rin smiled.
        "Okay," Len hesitated.
        "I'm game," Gumi agreed.
        "Alright," IA said.
        "Sounds good," Luka said.
        "Cool," Gakupo said.
"No, Haku and I are practicing for the talent show," Neru said, looking down at her phone.
"T-talent show?" You stuttered. You had never been in a talent show.
"Oh, we had choir first period," Haku said.
"They're in B class," Rin whispered.
"So are you all trying out for the talent show?" Haku asked.
"Yeah!" The Vocaloids said in unison. You stayed quiet. You might, but you'd rather do a duet. You knew that being the new girl, few would want to sing with you. Would anyone want to sing with you?
Part two! Sorry it came out late, I've been really busy with school and dance.
